Job Description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team and support the stability, scalability, and performance of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring strong problem-solving skills, deep coding experience, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in hybrid environments and have solid experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and automation tools.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Write and maintain sophisticated code in Python and Java to support automation and internal tools.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, handle incident response and performance tuning.
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and bash scripting for cloud provisioning.
• Support both on-premises infrastructure and cloud services (hybrid model, including GCP).
• Work with OpenStack for private cloud management, if applicable.
• Maintain software configuration management tools and establish version control best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other DevOps engineers to ensure high system reliability and streamlined release cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working as DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Python for automation, monitoring, and infrastructure as code over the past 3 years.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, especially in hybrid environments (on-prem + Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform and bash scripting.
• Experience maintaining and debugging Kubernetes environments.
• Strong foundation in software configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Strong communication skills to work across cross-functional teams.
• Eagerness to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution.

Nice to have:

• Experience with large-scale, distributed systems.
• Exposure to multiple cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure strategies.
• Experience writing code in Java and Node.js.
• Familiarity with OpenStack for private cloud provisioning.
