Intel Tiber AI Cloud is looking for a skilled platform engineer to design and implement our on-premises cloud platform automation.
In this role, you will enhance and streamline our platform provisioning automation to efficiently deliver bare metal and virtualized resources for our customers.
You will collaborate closely with development and site reliability engineering teams to ensure high availability and security across our systems and applications.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or similar.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering with hands-on experience in managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in setting up Ansible-based infrastructure provisioning, including developing custom Ansible modules.
- Technical expertise in Ubuntu administration.
- Strong Kubernetes proficiency.
- Programming skills in Golang, Bash, and Python.
- Experience with secret and TLS certificate management on Kubernetes (HashiCorp Vault, External Secret Operator, Vault Injector, Cert Manager).
- Working knowledge of networking infrastructure - Load Balancers, Firewalls, DHCP, DNS, VLANs.
- Working knowledge of on-premises bare metal provisioning (Ironic experience is a plus).
- System management experience using Redfish and IPMI.
- Proficiency in Terraform for AWS infrastructure management.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure management and services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, ALB, S3, CloudFront.
- Experience in using KVM for creating and managing virtual machines.
Good to have:
- Experience with ArgoCD.
- Experience with monitoring tools - Prometheus, Grafana,VictoriaMetrics, Node Exporter.
- Experience with Terraform in managing HashiCorp Vault.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent teamwork & communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strong attitude and desire to learn and innovate.
Language:
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken) to effectively read technical documentation and collaborate with team members.

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
