Newfire is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an innovative healthcare project focused on vaccine handling through a mobile application designed for nurses. The platform will support the administration, recording, and registration of different vaccine doses for patients, integrating with the Epic ecosystem, the Epic Rover mobile application, and customer systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining a secure, scalable, and high-performing DevOps environment that ensures the reliability, consistency, and seamless integration of the overall solution.
What's the Project?
This healthcare project focuses on improving vaccine management through a mobile application designed to support nurses throughout the vaccination process. The application will enable healthcare professionals to manage, administer, document, and register doses of various vaccines for patients.
The solution will involve integration with the Epic ecosystem, including the Epic Rover mobile application, as well as the customer’s internal systems. From a DevOps perspective, the focus will be on building and maintaining a secure, reliable, consistent, and scalable infrastructure that supports the performance and seamless integration of all components.
Your day-to-day activities:
- 4+ years of commercial experience with DevOps
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the changes
- Strong self-management and time-management skills
- Proficient English
- Familiar with Agile and Scrum practice
- Source Control (like GitHub, Bitbucket, etc)
- CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Linux administration, BASH scripting, Python (Nice to have)
- Infrastructure: AWS (EKS,Lambda,S3,Route53,RDS,IAM)
- Container Concepts, Orchestration Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with building a secure infrastructure
- Familiarity with testing
- Healthcare experience
