The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for a key role in building, automating and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, system monitoring and deployment processes across environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation , reliability, scalability and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for built, test and deployment
- Manage and automate infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform Cloud Formation, Ansible or similar.
- Monitor applications and systems performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or equivalent
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (or OpenShift)
- Implement and manage secrets and configuration management
- Improve system reliability, security and scalability in on-prem and hybrid environments
- Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production issues.
- Infrastructure setup and working with cross teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or system Administrator role.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or Shell
- Experience with Ci/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CI, etc.)
- Solid Knowledge of Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools
- Good understanding of monitoring/logging stacks
- Experience with security and compliance practices in DevOps pipelines
- Knowledge of Network, DNS and Linux system internals
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
