Mirantis Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer at its facility located at 900 E Hamilton Ave., Suite 650, Campbell, CA 95008. The Senior DevOps Engineer will extend functionality for OpenStack and Kubernetes cloud solutions. Monitor cloud and network systems to ensure integrity and functionality. Monitor resource consumption and take corrective actions where needed. Plan and deploy OpenStack and Kubernetes cloud solutions for Mirantis customers. Facilitate knowledge transfer to the customers during deployment projects. Work with geographically distributed international teams on technical challenges and process improvements. Continuously improve tooling and technologies set. Contribute to Mirantis' deployment knowledge base. Telecommuting permitted
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s** degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in job offered, Deployment Engineer, Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a related occupation.
**Employer will accept one additional year of experience for an unrelated degree. Employer will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
Academic training or work experience in the following:
1. Mirantis OpenStack (MOS)
2. Mirantis Cloud Platform (MCP)
3. Docker
4. SaltStack
5. Python programming
6. Linux networking
7. Experience with administration of virtualized environments based on KVM.

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but limited to, relevant sill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location
Salary range: $186,000–$191,000/yr.
