Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for development and maintenance projects.
- Implement integrations that solve customer needs (configuration, support and troubleshoot issues with business software).
- Proactively monitor systems and identify if there are any performance issues.
- Troubleshoot production systems following an incident
- Script and automate the creation of infrastructure.
- Coordinate design-related infrastructure and setup at different stages of the project.
- Maintain working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.
- Guide fellow engineers by clarifying requirements, providing technical insights, and removing roadblocks
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends and provide inputs / recommendations as required.
- Develop, introduce and document new processes.
Other Duties
- The position will require working on some evening, weekend and holiday hours.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Cloud DevOps or Software Engineering role
- Proficient in English
- Experience with release management, product rollouts, and service operationalization
- Deep understanding of Cloud security architecture.
- Proven experience deploying and operating in Azure Cloud
- Solid understanding of core Azure Services, working knowledge of CLIs, and cloud software development kit (SDKs)
- Proficient in Power Shell, Shell Scripting Languages.
- Hands-on knowledge of implementing multi-staged CI / CD with tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, BitBucket. Git.
- Strong knowledge in infrastructure-as-a-code approaches with Terraform, Puppet, Ansible.
- Strong knowledge in Micro Services, Container based architecture and the corresponding deployment tools and techniques.
- Strong knowledge on various monitoring tools such as Azure Application Insights, Zabbix, Nagios.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of Clustering, Load Balancing, High Availability and Disaster Recovery, Auto Scaling, etc.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of working with external customers to understand their needs and translate into technical solutions
- Desire and ability to thrive in a distributed technical environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate about latest technology trends with a strong desire for innovation
- Self-motivated and self-managing and able to work independently
Preferred qualifications
- Understanding of OAuth/OIDC.
- Past experience with system administration
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Prior experience as developer
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM)/Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and enterprise IT change management processes
