Job Summary:
Our team, within the Telco Verification Pillar, is creating and running a CI/CD service that helps our Testing Teams to automate their testing activities. As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Testing Automation, CI/CD, and DevOps, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and efficiency of our CI/CD service and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, and DevOps practices.
What you will do:
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate testing and deployment processes seamlessly.
Monitor and analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible or similar.
Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. (Openshift Knowledge is a plus)
Identify test coverage gaps in existing test pipelines, propose and develop new automated tests where applicable in collaboration with the test teams (FT, ST, SLCM)
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the CI/CD and DevOps processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in testing automation, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers on best practices and technical skills.
What you will bring:
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on testing automation, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Go.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or similar.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
