As a DevOps Engineer IV, you will lead the design, implementation, manage, support and operation of cloud-native infrastructure and container orchestration platforms, with a primary focus on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
This role is responsible for driving platform reliability, scalability, automation, and operational excellence across critical SaaS and cloud-based workloads.
You will work closely with Cloud Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams to modernize infrastructure, implement best practices, and enable application teams through self-service and platform capabilities.
You will function as a senior technical leader, contributing to architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and operational standards.

Role Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5–7 years of progressive experience in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes including production cluster operations
Experience with container technologies such as Docker
Deep experience with AWS, including Amazon EKS
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation)
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Experience with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar)
Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
Experience with Git-based workflows and version control best practices
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis experience
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Preferred:
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes-specific certifications such as CKA/CKAD)

Key Responsibilities:
Kubernetes & Platform EngineeringDesign, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters, primarily on AWS EKS
Build and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes best practices
Define and enforce standards for containerization, deployment patterns, and cluster operations
Implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant platform architectures
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Develop reusable modules and automation frameworks to enable self-service infrastructure
Drive infrastructure standardization, cost optimization, and performance improvements
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support containerized application delivery
Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary)
Enable development teams with tooling, templates, and best practices for DevOps adoption
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes workloads and infrastructure
Define SLOs/SLIs and drive improvements in system reliability and performance
Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement efforts
Ensure Kubernetes and cloud environments meet security and compliance standards
Implement secure configurations, access controls, and audit capabilities
