Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
You will have the opportunity to join one of the Heat Pump application software development teams of the Electric Solutions group at Bosch Home Confort, located in Aveiro. Your work will focus on improving and maintaining continuous build and delivery systems for a model-based software development platform. You will ensure our heat pump solutions are efficiently developed, deployed, and maintained, contributing to sustainable home environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead DevOps initiatives for a model-based software platform in an agile team.
- Design, monitor, and enhance continuous integration/delivery systems for the software development teams across multiple sites.
- Automate and refine software development processes, ensuring top quality.
- Support software development projects with model-based approaches.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields;
Experience: Experience in CI/CD, DevOps methodologies, and programming (Bash, Git, Python, Go, C);
Know-how:
- Knowledge of tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, jFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and GitHub. Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) and server administration (Windows/Linux) is a plus;
- Previous experience with Maven, REST APIs, MATLAB/Simulink, Conan and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is beneficial;
Languages: Fluent in English and Portuguese;
Working Style: Organized, collaborative, and proactive with strong planning skills;
Personality: Responsible, self-driven, eager to innovate and learn, with willingness to collaborate with international teams – this includes willingness for occasional business travel.
