POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and data platform solutions. You will collaborate
closely with both technical peers and leadership to support cloud operations, automation initiatives, and data platform capabilities, including Snowflake.
This role contributes to architectural decisions, actively participates in project planning, and works hands-on with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The Senior DevOps Engineer will guide
platform reliability, security, and performance, ensuring systems meet both current and future business needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)
- Cloud Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure to support system scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Technical Execution: Implement infrastructure as code and automation solutions, delivering high-quality, secure, and maintainable configurations under the strategic guidance of leadership.
- Data Platform Enablement: Support and optimize Snowflake environments, including provisioning, integrations, and performance tuning for enterprise data workloads.
- CI/CD & Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application and data deployments, improving efficiency and release quality.
- Team Mentorship: Lead technical discussions, provide guidance to engineers, and promote best practices in DevOps, cloud architecture, and automation.
- Performance and Automation: Identify system inefficiencies, implement monitoring and automation solutions, and continuously optimize platform operations.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with frameworks such as SOX, SOC 2, or GAMP 5, supporting organizational risk management.
- Collaboration: Actively participate in agile development processes using tools such as Jira, document solutions clearly, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify infrastructure and operational risks and collaborate with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (required)
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS environments and cloud-native services
Technical Expertise:
- Cloud Platforms (AWS): Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Data Platform (Snowflake): Experience supporting Snowflake environments, including data integration, performance optimization, and access management
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Proficiency with tools such as Terraform,CloudFormation, or similar
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience building and maintaining pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Monitoring & Observability: Experience with logging and monitoring solutions (e.g.,Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK, Splunk)
- Agile & Work Management Tools: Familiarity with Jira and agile delivery practices
- Compliance & Security: Experience working within SOX, SOC 2, or GAMP 5 frameworks and implementing security best practices in cloud environments
