Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Manage production-grade AKS clusters, including private networking, node pools, autoscaling, workload identity, ingress, certificates, and cluster upgrades.
- Own Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including reusable modules, state management, workspaces, and multi-environment deployments.
- Design and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient application delivery from development through production.
- Implement monitoring and observability across Kubernetes, applications, and Azure services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, identity, and production issues.
- Apply cloud security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, and centralized secrets management.
- Design and maintain multi-region high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including failover and failback procedures.
- Collaborate closely with application engineering teams to establish and improve operational standards.
- Support cloud migration initiatives, including workloads moving between Azure and Google Cloud.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role with strong Azure expertise.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale Azure solutions.
- Proven production experience with AKS, including private clusters, upgrades, autoscaling, and incident response.
- Advanced, production-level Terraform experience.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and design reliable solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus.
- English: B2+ / Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Technical Skills
- Azure: Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Workload Identity, Key Vault, VNets, Subnets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS.
- Kubernetes: AKS, Helm, Docker, container registries, microservices.
- IaC: Terraform.
- CI/CD: Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Flux, or similar.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python; experience with Go, C#/.NET, or Node.js is a plus.
- Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.
- Networking: VPN, firewalls, hybrid connectivity, network security.
- Databases & Cloud Services: Azure SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, Redis, Storage, Functions.
- Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL, Datadog, Grafana, or similar.
- Security: Cloud security principles, penetration testing, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS.
- Multi-cloud: Experience with GCP/GKE, cross-cloud networking and identity, or supporting cloud migration projects is a strong advantage.
Skills Required
- 5+ years in a DevOps Engineering role

- Experience with Azure networking and identity: Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, VNets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, identity, and production incidents
- Support multi-region high availability and disaster recovery design, failover/failback procedures
- Support cloud migration initiatives (including workloads between Azure and Google Cloud)
- Scripting experience: PowerShell, Bash, Python
- Configuration management experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar)
- Networking experience: VPN, firewalls, hybrid connectivity, network security
