As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for executing, driving, and owning assignments through all stages of the development lifecycle to completion. You will document and map requirements to standard application functionality. You will function as a technical expert on complex applications, work assignments, and business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with project managers, business analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into monday.com boards, workflows, automations, and integrations.
- Promotes open communication and strong stakeholder collaboration; gathers feedback, supports adoption, and drives continuous improvement of monday.com practices and standards.
- Builds and enhances monday.com solutions, including board structures, column configurations, automations, dashboards, and (when needed) custom apps and integrations.
- Reviews and validates monday.com configurations (permissions, automations, integrations, and templates) and supports change/release processes across workspaces and environments.
- Identifies risks, dependencies, and impacts when implementing workflow changes, including automation behavior, permissions, data governance, and integration touchpoints.
- Evaluates solution approaches using monday.com native features, marketplace apps, custom apps, and API-based integrations to meet business needs.
- Delivers monday.com solutions end-to-end, including requirements analysis, configuration/design, implementation, testing/validation, deployment, and post-release support.
- Understands monday.com platform capabilities, limitations, and dependencies (workspaces, permissions, automations, integrations, and dashboards) and advises on scalable design patterns and upgrade considerations.
- Collaborates with IT, Security, QA, and business teams to ensure monday.com solutions align with governance, access controls, and integration standards.
- Participates in technical discussions and stakeholder working sessions; provides and accepts constructive feedback while refining monday.com workflows, templates, and automation logic.
- Creates and maintains documentation such as workspace/board standards, automation and integration design notes, user guides, and admin runbooks.
- Troubleshoots production issues across monday.com workflows, automations, dashboards, and integrations; coordinates with internal teams and third-party vendors as needed and tracks progress to resolution.
- Monitors monday.com usage and operational health (e.g., automation/integration failures, permissions issues, and adoption trends) and proactively recommends optimizations based on data and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in eCommerce, eBusiness, information technology or related field preferred
- 5 years required, 7 years preferred experience in a development role in an enterprise environment with responsibility for the delivery and support of world class technology solutions
- 5 years required, 7 years preferred experience with coding experience in required language, platform, and/or technology.
- 5 years required, 7 years preferred experience developing solutions using modern tools and practices
- Working knowledge with code management systems
- Working knowledge with intake and task management tools
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Working knowledge of development frameworks
- Working knowledge with build tools
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies
- Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of budgets including processing invoices and other financial documents through accounting processes and practices
