Sr. Full Stack AI Developer (St. Louis)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain, or equivalent discipline 
• 6+ years of experience with various technologies such as:   

• Development: JavaScript/Node.js/Vue.js, Groovy/Grails, Software AG webMethods 

• Database Technologies: Mongo DB, Oracle, PostgreSQL 

• Testing: Vitest, Jest, Ava, Junit, Playwright 

• Containers: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu/Cloud Foundry 

• CI/CD: Github, Codefresh, Jenkins 

• AI: Windsurf, Github Copilot 

• Understanding software development concepts such as SOLID, DRY, TDD, MVC, Restful, and SOA 

• Ability to design, read, write, and test code in multiple languages 

• Ability to understand, read, write, and run efficient SQL statements 

• Test-First mindset across all levels of application development including unit, functional, end-to-end and regression testing. 

• Critical thinker with the ability to break down complex technical requirements 

• Strong communication skills - Communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely 

• Result driven and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

• Working experience in software development, knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, and/or Agile experience a plus 

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $106,400.00 to $133,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop and implement full stack custom software and database application solutions meeting requirements while delivering optimal performance to our end users within allotted time periods 

• Ensure product quality through writing and maintaining software tests to reduce cost of new features and maintenance 

• Contribute to team and organizational success through agile ceremonies, code reviews, regression testing, user acceptance testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and cross team efforts 

• Contribute to a culture of AI literacy within the engineering team, sharing strategies for safe, ethical, and effective use of AI in software development and encouraging experimentation with new AI-enhanced workflows. 

• Identify automation opportunities and develop from user stories to reduce the level of effort required to provide the same level of service to our customers 

• Provide follow on support for post-production release features including on-call rotation support (approximately 1 week per quarter) 

• Act as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a proactive attitude to ensure product and team success 

• Be a major contributor to organizational web platform efforts such as quality assurance, upgrade survivability, and resiliency 

• Perform other tasks as identified by your manager to enable team success
