Senior Developer - API Integrations (GCP)
Aliz is seeking a Senior Developer to join our team and work on developing integrations between various SaaS APIs. The role will primarily involve using Google Cloud Platform Application Integration and deploying Python code on Cloud Run. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle ambiguous requirements and has excellent communication skills.
About the Role
You will be responsible for building integrations between SaaS APIs using GCP Application Integration. These integrations, while conceptually simple, often present challenges due to limitations in the APIs and evolving business needs. You will need to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients to understand requirements, propose solutions, and adapt to changes.
Responsibilities
- Establish reusable patterns and solutions using the Application Integration platform, including best practices for deployment, maintenance and observability.
- Write and deploy Python code on Cloud Run to support integration needs.
- Find creative, non-straightforward solutions using the available APIs.
- Communicate effectively and work with internal teams and clients to understand and clarify requirements.
- Suggest alternative solutions and work iteratively as requirements are specified.
- Document your work and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Python (5+ years of experience) and Javascript (3+ years of experience) and some experience deploying Python code on Cloud Run.
- Extensive experience working with APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong communication skills, and fluency in English.
- Experience resolving vague requirements and taking a creative, iterative approach to problem-solving.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP Application Integration.
- Strong command of any procedural language.
