CLA is currently seeking a Senior Developer to join our growing internal IT team.
How you’ll create opportunities in this Senior Developer role:
The Senior Application Developer is responsible for developing solutions that support business goals, with a focus on web-based frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery) Candidates must have an advanced knowledge of JIRA and the JAVA programming language, knowledge in front end JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, and experience with Docker containerization. The Senior Developer possesses outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong communication skills.
Essential Job Functions
- Design and Development: Develop solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms, etc. codes tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, and risk. Leads technical teams of developers to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems
- Testing & Documentation: This individual will perform unit testing and assist the BA/QA in defining test plans. Perform coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions as well as aid in application maintenance, debugging, and upgrades. Creates or updates code level documentation.
- Projects: Lead in providing time estimates for project tasks and defining project tasks. Complete project work within agreed upon deadlines.
What you will need:
• 3 years of application development and support working as a team member on multiple projects or applications.
• Bachelor's Degree or experience acceptable in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with web applications, frameworks, and programming languages such as JAVA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SASS, and API Development
- Experience with the development for JIRA application (Plugins and UI)
- Experience of Front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, and AngularJS
- Experience working on containers (Docker)
- Experience working with Azure environment, DevOps, SharePoint Online, Office 365
- Experience using a Database such as Postgres, SQL Server, mySQL or mongoDb
