Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 3+ years of experience in database development and optimization. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient PL/SQL code, supporting data-driven applications, and ensuring high performance and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting
Optimize existing database code for performance and scalability
Work closely with application developers and business analysts to understand data requirements
Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and bugs
Develop and maintain data models and database schemas
Support data migration, data integration, and ETL processes
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with standards
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming
Experience with writing complex queries, joins, indexes, and views
Good understanding of database design concepts and normalization
Experience in performance tuning (query optimization, indexing, execution plans)
Familiarity with Oracle database architecture
Experience with tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, etc.)
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Exposure to shell scripting or Unix/Linux environments
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Basic knowledge of reporting tools (OBIEE, Power BI, etc.)

Good communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
