Department OverviewThe Design & Tools (D&T) team is a strategic component of Centralized Managed Support Operations (CMSO), responsible for providing exceptional Service Design & innovative technology solutions to enable and empower MSI Centralized Managed Support Operations to meet and exceed customer's expectations.
Job Description
Implement core configuration user stories with minimal guidance.
User stories could cover service catalog, catalog items/record producers, knowledge bases/knowledge articles, notifications, assignment rules using advanced work assignment, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) configurations and workflows.
Experience delivering projects for implementing Workspaces and Now Assist
Participate in and/or lead design workshops, development, testing and deployment activities
Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, CSM and Custom Applications.
Ability to build ServiceNow Reports, dashboards and homepages
Ability to set up data security via control rules, domain separation
Implement integrations utilizing Integration Hub and relevant Spokes.
Good hands-on knowledge and experience with any one or more areas: JavaScript /HTML/ CSS / AJAX / Angular / Bootstrap
Experience administering a ServiceNow instance including group roles, permissions, modifications for business rules, workflows, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies.
Execute unit testing to confirm user stories meet acceptance criteria as implemented.
Troubleshoot complex platform issues and ensure a high level of reliability and user satisfaction.
Peer review of other developers’ user stories
Provide technical documentation as required
Development, management, and configuration of ServiceNow applications, modules, enhancements, product development, and some system administration tasks.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior developers on best practice approaches to implement required functionality involving technical leads as required.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a similar technical discipline, or comparable industry experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
6 to 8 years in ServiceNow configuration and development experience
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration and/or development of the ServiceNow tool
Experience delivering projects for implementing Workspaces and Now Assist
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills are necessary to be able to translate technical information to non-technical audiences
Energetic self-starter able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
High sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to quality
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting deadlines
Effective organization, collaboration, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
