About the role:

The Senior DevOps Engineer must have expertise in virtual machine and

containerized workloads running on public cloud infrastructure, with strong

emphasis on Azure. This position will help define and be responsible for

architecting, implementing and maintaining infrastructure, tools and

processes required for testing, deploying and monitoring various complex

software applications and workloads. Automation, CI/CD and cloud

technologies first are expected and essentials for this role. You will be

expected to drive efficiency, scalability and reliability in the software

development process.

What you will do:

● Work with DevOps Team to design and implement scalable solutions

for enterprise.

● Work with Enterprise Development to build out deployment processes

for the EasyPost Products

● Write Infrastructure as Code and scripts to deploy, maintain

infrastructure

● Write CI/CD pipelines to facilitate

● Maintain Windows based Virtual Machine Web Workloads powered by

MS SQL Server

● Provide troubleshooting and infrastructure support during outages

● Create and maintain technical documentation, including system

architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and

knowledge base articles. Share knowledge and best practices with

team members and stakeholders.

● Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve

operational issues and improve system performance.

● Implement and maintain effective monitoring, logging, and alerting

systems.

● Participate in On Call rotation

About You:

● 8+ years’ experience in software development and/or DevOps

● Expertise working with Linux focused container-based technology.

● Expertise with Windows Server workloads under Windows Server

2016/2019/2022, emphasis on .Net Framework and MS SQL

● Expertise with Container based orchestration engines, Kubernetes

preferred

● Expertise with writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

including deploying resources with IaC. Terraform preferred, all

accepted

● Experience in cloud platform best practices around configuration,

management and security

● Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best

practices

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to

troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work

effectively in a team environment.

● Public Cloud Experience, Azure preferred
