We are looking for a seasoned multitalented Designer to join the ride in creating solutions to make things easy and efficient for our customers and employees.

As a designer in the domain of Business Lending domain, you will be working on the digital transformation of a loan application process for our small and large clients in the Dutch market. Your main task will be to conceptualize, design and improve journeys for our business platforms.

You understand the needs and expectations of our bankers and clients, and you are responsible for the creation of design concepts which are used in the complex financial workflows of a loan application process.

• Drive the strategic direction for the loan applications; research the user and usage – but also visualise, create, and iterate design concepts that help guide the product teams.

• You are comfortable in the fuzzy front-end of the design process and enjoy the complexity of defining the design tasks with the stakeholders.

• You are a teambuilder, you strive to bring people together and stabilize a design team.

• Work together with PO’s, BA’s and developers to translate business requirements into innovative concepts. 

• Improve new and existing workflows and help us build scalable products. 

• Apply the Rabobank design system during concept development and design new components to extend our library.  

• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure a development process and a high-quality outcome. 

• Work together with other designers and be responsible for all steps in the design process. If necessary, you involve other designers and specialists to help you with this.

• You see the challenge in working with complex user interfaces and you are both a structured strategic thinker and a creator of pixel-perfect designs. 

We are looking for a multi-talented senior designer who can use creativity, problem-solving and communication skills to handle the complex context of a bank.  

• You have 10+ years of experience in UX design and confidently take responsibility and ownership of design projects.  

• You have experience leading a design team and coach junior designers. You enjoy bringing positive energy and a stabilizing factor to a team. 

• You are comfortable working with a large stakeholder field including architects, process managers, product owners and business analysts across financing journeys. You can manage these different perspectives and interests.  

• You are fluent with design and prototyping tools like Figma, and familiar with ideation and user research methods.  

• You are familiar with user journeys and system maps and can build the bridge between the identified pain points and concrete digital solutions.

• You gain energy working on complex products with possible technical challenge.

• You can communicate professionally in English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.
