Position Summary

Delinea is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our User Experience team in Mexico City. In this role, you’ll own and drive the design of a feature area within our identity security platform end-to-end — from early user flows through high-fidelity UI and reusable components — while continuing to grow your craft. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and technical writers in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, translating complex, technical workflows like identity governance, privileged access, and zero trust into experiences that feel simple and intuitive for IT and security professionals. You’ll iterate quickly based on user feedback, data, and input from your team, and act as a strong advocate for the user to help shape product decisions.

We do our best design work in person, which is part of why this role is hybrid with in-office days built around real-time collaboration — solving problems together, syncing quickly with product and engineering, and building the kind of working relationships that lead to sharper outcomes.

This role suits a designer who has moved beyond pure execution and is ready to own a meaningful piece of the product, start mentoring more junior designers, and shape how design decisions get made — while still working closely with senior design leadership as you build toward even greater autonomy.

What You’ll Do

· Own and drive the end-to-end design of a feature area — user needs analysis, user flows, high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and reusable components — from early concept through shipped product.

· Translate complex, technical processes into simple, intuitive experiences that make sense for IT admins and security practitioners.

· Work closely with product managers, engineers, and technical writers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, iterating quickly based on user feedback, data, and team input.

· Advocate for the user and bring that perspective into product decisions, presenting and defending your design thinking to senior stakeholders.

· Collaborate with our UX Researcher to ground design decisions in real user needs and validate features before and after they ship.

· Contribute to and help evolve the Delinea Design System, keeping designs and components consistent, scalable, and reusable across the product portfolio.

· Review the work of design peers and offer thoughtful, constructive feedback; begin mentoring junior designers as opportunities arise.

We’d Love to See

· 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer for web or SaaS products, with a track record of owning features from concept through delivery.

· Experience designing for B2B, cybersecurity, or other complex, data-dense enterprise systems, and a knack for making that complexity feel simple.

· A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design and your design process.

· High proficiency with Figma and other modern design/prototyping tools; working knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

· Familiarity with the role of AI tools in the product development process. Hands-on experience using AI tools preferred.

· A strong product mindset, high sense of ownership, and meticulous attention to detail.

· Developing leadership and project management skills — comfort driving a project without constant direction, and good judgment about when to loop in other design team members.

· Excellent collaboration and communication skills across audiences.

Bonus if You Have

· Background or genuine interest in cybersecurity, identity governance, or privileged access management.

· Experience partnering with a dedicated UX researcher, or running lightweight research and validation yourself.

· Experience mentoring junior designers and participating in design critiques.
