Senior Designer - CAD

Join a team focused on transforming engineering concepts into detailed designs, drawings, fixtures, and equipment that support product development and manufacturing. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to create and maintain design documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturability expectations.
What You Will Do
- Create and revise layouts, engineering drawings, fixtures, and equipment designs using CAD and related design software.
- Translate engineering specifications and design inputs into detailed models and documentation that support manufacturing and quality requirements.
- Review engineering drawings and supporting documentation to verify compliance with company standards and industry requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to evaluate designs for functionality, durability, integrity, and manufacturability.
- Analyze technical documentation and resolve design details not fully defined within specifications.
- Submit engineering drawings and associated documentation through established document control and approval processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers to support component, tooling, and system acceptance activities.
- Contribute to prototype assembly, testing, design analysis, process improvements, and training of team members on design-related topics.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering Graphics, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline; or technical certification with minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years of CAD or engineering design software experience.
- Experience creating and maintaining engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation.
- Experience utilizing CAD software for mechanical, electrical, or product design applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Graphics or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience using Creo CAD software.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, tooling, fixture, or equipment design projects.
- Experience working within regulated quality systems and document control processes.
