Job DescriptionPerforms complex BIM or Plant Data Centric assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms, such as Revit, Intergraph SmartPlant, Plant 3D, etc. software, to achieve set results and deadlines
- Works under limited supervision.
- Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
- Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Plant 3D with the ability to independently lead and deliver Plant 3D modeling activities and project deliverables.
- Experience in equipment modeling, custom equipment creation, and QA/QC review processes within Plant 3D.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D and Navisworks Manage for model review and clash detection.
- Experience in Substation layout development and 2D & 3D equipment modeling.
- Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and deliverables.
- Experience in coordinating with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Piping disciplines.
- Strong communication skills with a high level of project ownership, accountability, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Autodesk Forma, and exposure to US and mining projects will be an added advantage.
- Diploma / BE Electrical & Electronics with >8 years experience post qualification.
- Experience in Civil 3D software tool
- Work experience in ME Urban Infrastructure Design works (prefer Dry Utilities design experience in consulting firms)
- Good knowledge of Revit is added advantage
- Strong communication skills in English is desirable.
