Job Description
Salary Range: SGD 109,800 - 150,000 per annum + RSUs
We are looking for an exceptional physical card design specialist to help us supercharge our only physical brand touchpoint at Wise. Millions of customers use Wise, and you'll be responsible for designing a portfolio of cards and carriers alongside a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, analysts, researchers in our Spend Experience team. We aim for best in class experiences at Wise, and are looking for someone with the skills and drive to match that ambition.

Wise cards are integral to our most user-friendly multi currency account proposition.
As a Senior Design Specialist, you will lead the design and evolution of our physical card products. You'll work at the intersection of brand design, packaging design and digital product design to create cards that customers are proud to carry and use.
You will take ownership all the way from design conception to final execution, working closely with the Cards Operation team and card manufacturing company.
This is a unique opportunity to create impact to complex user experience that involves both digital and physical elements. Our customers love the ease of spending with Wise Cards, at home or abroad. You will be helping to make the experience even better for millions of customers.
Scope of work:

Conceptualize and design debit card designs that represent our brand values and resonate with our global customer base

Design card carriers and packaging that create delightful experiences while meeting regulatory requirements

Lead design projects from concept to production, ensuring high quality execution of physical products

Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and production partners to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the production process

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, Product, Compliance, and Operations to align card designs with broader business strategy

Stay current with materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices in card production
Qualifications
A bit about you:

7+ years of experience in graphic design and package design

Strong portfolio showcasing experience designing physical brand touchpoints

Strong visual design skills with exceptional attention to detail

Understanding of accessibility considerations in physical design

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bonus Skills:
-
In-depth understanding of card manufacturing processes, materials, finishes, and production constraints

Knowledge of scheme (Visa/MC) branding guidelines and requirements
-
Knowledge of innovative card technologies (dynamic CVV, biometric cards, etc.)

Experience with 3D modeling and rendering tools

Experience in Figma
