We're a fast-moving, internationally operating business headquartered in the UAE and are looking for a commercially sharp, French-speaking demand planning professional to take ownership of forecasting, procurement and supplier negotiations at a senior level.
What you'll do:
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and manage demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance to align forecasts with business targets and budgets
- Continuously monitor forecast accuracy and drive proactive improvements
- Commercial Supplier Negotiations
- Lead end-to-end negotiations with international and local suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
- Represent the company's commercial interests independently and with full accountability for outcomes
- Communicate fluently in French (written and spoken) with French-speaking suppliers and partners — this is mandatory
- Procurement & Inventory Management
- Oversee full procurement cycles including PFIs, POs, DNs, and all associated documentation
- Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, and replenishment cycles to maintain optimal inventory health
- Identify slow-moving stock and recommend corrective pricing or procurement actions
- Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead and support a team of demand planning coordinators and executives
- Act as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, and Operations
- Prepare KPI reports and dashboards and deliver data-driven recommendations to management
We are looking for:
- 5–8 years in demand planning, of automotive, any other MNC or similar large scale industry.
- Fluent English and French — both spoken and written (mandatory).
- Proven track record in commercial supplier negotiations with measurable outcomes.
- Strong ERP proficiency (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills, Power BI skills.
- Experience in automotive, trading, or distribution — strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working across international time zones with high availability.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-8 years experience in demand planning, supply chain, or procurement
- Fluency in Arabic
- Experience in forecasting, inventory management, and procurement
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Matrix or similar)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Prior experience in automotive, trading, or distribution industries
- Team leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management
