This role is for a senior demand planning professional who wants to operate at corporate level and shape how demand planning works across Vanderlande’s three business domains. You consolidate demand information from the three domains into one coherent corporate demand plan for the tactical planning horizon (6–18 months). You lead the demand review process, manage assumptions, risks and scenarios, and ensure demand is translated into clear inputs for resource, supply and financial planning.
You are also a key contributor to Vanderlande’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) transformation, ensuring demand planning is fully embedded in the end‑to‑end planning cycle.
What you’ll do
Own and continuously improve the cross-domain demand planning framework, including standards, KPIs, governance and roles
Consolidate domain forecasts into one transparent and aligned corporate demand plan
Define and maintain a baseline forecast based on project pipeline, firm demand and master data
Lead the cross-domain Demand Review, creating a consensus unconstrained demand plan
Identify and manage demand risks, opportunities and scenarios, including assumption-based planning
Improve forecast accuracy through structured root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
Act as linking pin between Sales / Customer Centers, Domain Planning, Supply Planning, Resource Planning and Finance
Build demand planning capability through coaching, training and community-of-practice support
Represent demand planning in the IBP design and rollout
Partner with Anaplan, Power BI and ERP teams on data quality, analytics and planning transparency
What you bring
5–10+ years of experience in demand planning, S&OP or supply chain planning
Experience in process design, capability building or planning transformation
Proven ability to work across multiple business units or domains in a matrix organization
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, comfortable planning under uncertainty
Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Ability to challenge assumptions while maintaining strong partnerships
Comfortable operating up to senior leadership and C‑level
Experience with Anaplan, ERP/planning systems and Power BI is a strong plus
