About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Demand Generation Partner to drive business growth through integrated marketing and communications initiatives.

This role sits at the intersection of brand, communications, and commercial performance, with responsibility for building awareness, generating qualified leads, and supporting pipeline growth across target accounts and emerging sectors.

Working across regional and global initiatives, you will develop and execute campaigns that align messaging, content, and channels to attract, engage, and convert priority audiences. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Communications & Campaign Management

  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns that combine strategic communications and demand generation to drive engagement, qualified leads, and pipeline growth.

  • Ensure campaigns are aligned to business goals, target audiences, key messages, channels, and measurable outcomes.

  • Adapt and activate global campaigns at regional/divisional level, ensuring consistency in messaging, brand values, and positioning.

  • Work across digital and traditional channels, bringing fresh and creative ideas to campaign execution.

  • Partner with local steering committees and internal stakeholders to align strategic initiatives with communications and demand generation priorities.

Lead Generation & Performance Optimization

  • Drive lead generation and pipeline contribution, ensuring marketing and communications activities deliver measurable commercial impact.

  • Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance to improve ROI, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Refine plans and investments continuously, focusing on high-impact activities.

Brand, Content & Communications

  • Lead strategic communications initiatives that strengthen brand positioning and support demand generation goals.

  • Create and manage campaign content across digital, print, internal, and external channels, including conferences and trade events.

  • Support PR and media activities, including writing and editing messaging for external and internal stakeholders.

  • Manage external agencies and partners to ensure high-quality execution aligned with strategy.

  • Collaborate with regional business partners on events and joint initiatives that generate demand and increase engagement.

Key competences:

  • Proven experience in strategic communications, demand generation, and integrated campaign management

  • B2B marketing experience preferred

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to business results

  • Experience across digital and traditional marketing channels

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leadership

  • Experience managing external agencies and partners

  • Excellent writing and content development skills across multiple formats

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent English

  • Italian speaker

  • Experience in or knowledge of the water treatment sector is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional background

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Growth in qualified leads and pipeline contribution

  • Improved campaign ROI and efficiency

  • Stronger engagement and conversion through strategic communications

  • Increased brand awareness and positioning

  • Successful delivery of events, PR, and campaign activity

Location: Lainate (MI) – with possibility of working from home 2 days per week.
