We are seeking a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. The Senior Deal Desk Analyst is responsible for providing crucial administration and operational support to the sales team in order to facilitate quote and order execution while enhancing efficiency. They will actively work with sales, legal, finance, and other cross functional teams on deal structuring and commercial terms to ensure compliance and optimize operational processes to drive successful order execution. They will act as an internal contact across functional back-office teams to ensure that customer proposals are structured and processed according to the requests of the customer but also the company's policy. They will provide proactive guidance throughout the lifecycle of sales opportunities from the initial solution identification through closure. 

  • Drive deal review discussions with the Sales organization.

  • Collaborate with the Legal, Finance, Product, and other departments to ensure that we are aligned with company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements. 

  • Proactively drive quote and order execution through strategic deal structuring, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Act as first line support for any quote creation issues for the Sales Organization. 

  • Help advise and craft standards and best practices for all facets of a deal including product, operational, legal and financial. 

  • Identify potential risks and issues during order creation and execution and develop mitigation plans to address them.

  • Provide quote review and pricing approval support, ensuring compliance with company policy standards.

  • Make recommendations for approvals for non-standard deal elements across internal stakeholders aimed at driving consistent terms and conditions.

  • Work proactively to predict and minimize potential issues before they arise and resolve those in a timely manner.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve quote and order execution processes, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that deliverables meet the agreed-upon standards and quality criteria.

  • Communicate progress, issues, and key milestones to relevant stakeholders, including management.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in Sales Operations, Commercial support, or Finance role.

  • Experience using Salesforce.com, CPQ, DocuSign CLM (or similar order creation/execution tools).

  • Proven experience in deal structuring and execution and process governance. 

  • Experience with Quote and Order Form creation and special terms and conditions related to non-standard agreements. 

  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process optimization. 

  • Must have experience as a sales operations business partner, or related function, with cross functional teams.

  • Deep experience with account management operations and data strategy.

  • Clear communicator with excellent written, verbal, and listening skills. 

  • Ability to build relationships effectively across global teams.

  • Proactive and willingness to dig in with little direction.

  • Confidence in advocating for best practices

  • Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into management components, think through solutions, and communicate clearly to all departments/stakeholders. 

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
