Senior Database Engineer

Softeta is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the leading digital admevertising company, focusing on innovative data solutions and enhancing data integrity across the organization.

As a Senior SQL Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures, as well as developing strategies for data management. Your expertise will contribute to creating a robust database architecture that supports our clients' critical applications and ensures seamless data access.

Responsibilities:

• Provides Data Manage database services (Aerospike, Redis, Elastic Search, Vertica, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL);
• Maintain data stream-processing and message-broker technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ);
• Perform maintenance tasks, updates, patching, version upgrades;
• Ensure that supported systems are up to date with all security improvements;
• Backup and recovery;
• Collaborate with your team, department teams, stakeholders, and management to be always up to date on what is the most valuable way you can contribute agreed SLA.

Technologies - PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, Aerospike, Redis, Elastic Search, Vertica, MongoDB.

• 5+ years of experience in SQL development;
• Expertise in MS SQL Server and T-SQL;
• Proficient in database design and optimization techniques;
• Familiarity with .NET is highly desirable;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Salary range - from 4600 EUR to 6200 EUR before taxes, 35 - 40 EUR/h plus VAT for contractors.
