Responsible for providing operational database services including owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests.
-Supporting Database optimization and performance of IRIS and Cache platforms

Responsibilities:
- Develop, Maintain and Enhance database monitoring, operational processes and procedures/standards that will continually improve the operation of the whole environment.
- Perform database administration and configuration for where InterSystem IRIS is running (Public Cloud and On-Prem/DB and ECP/ VMs and Kubernetes).
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform infrastructure problems, using native monitoring and third-party tools.
- Conduct advanced analysis of index and statistics needs.
- Manage backups, restores and recovery models.
- Configure, manage, and recommend High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options.
- Communicate and coordinate with several teams of engineers from operations, support, engineering, networking and security.
- Act as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced associates with the InterSystems Platform.
Qualifications:
Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-
At least 1 years of SQL server management, build, configuration and support work experience.

1 year of Database experience, Oracle or SQL
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for purposes of communicating with non-technical and technical teams
-
Ability to take initiative & manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Excellent organizational, project management abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred

Certifications-IRIS or Cache would be a plus

At least 1 years experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
