Job DescriptionYou will lead industrial projects and AI R&D initiatives to transform Socotec's technical businesses through operational solutions and cutting-edge innovations:
- Industrial project development: AI projects for SOCOTEC's business lines or clients
- R&D leadership and innovation: Development of advanced algorithms (Computer Vision, NLP, digital twins)
- Supervision and training: Mentoring junior teams and facilitating the data expert community & AI of the Socotec Group.
- Engineering degree or equivalent in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 4+ years of experience concrete examples in AI or GenAI with a solid foundation technical training
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science with an advanced expertise in generative AI and machine learning
- Be capable of conducting innovative industrial and R&D projects A to Z, with a hands-on profile and passionate technical leadership innovation at the service of the professions of inspection and technical advice
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and model-building skills
- Knowledge of the construction/infrastructure sector is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Skills Required
- Engineering degree or equivalent in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science with advanced expertise in generative AI and machine learning
- 4+ years of experience with AI or GenAI and demonstrable project examples
- Experience developing advanced algorithms in Computer Vision, NLP, or digital twins
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end industrial and R&D projects with hands-on technical leadership
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and model-building skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and mentoring experience
- Knowledge of the construction/infrastructure sector
