Makpar has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Scientist. The Senior Data Scientist will support enterprise data and analytics initiatives. This role requires expertise in AI/ML development, Python, and advanced analytics to guide teams and deliver enterprise-level analytics solutions. requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead analytics and AI/ML initiatives supporting a federal client.
Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics models.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate models into enterprise data pipelines.
Support data governance, metadata management, and secure data-sharing initiatives.
Develop automation solutions to streamline business processes.
Communicate findings through dashboards, visualizations, and technical reports.

Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance is mandatory

7+ years of professional experience in Data Science and AI/ML.

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

Experience with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.

Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Python-based automation frameworks.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Local residency in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC.

Clearance Requirement:

Active Secret clearance (mandatory requirement).
