Responsibilities include:
- Develop, train, and operationalize advanced analytics and machine learning models supporting insider threat detection. Includes behavior based risk scoring, anomaly detection, and case prioritization models.
- Perform complex analytics on large, diverse datasets (near real time and archived logs) to identify subtle or emerging indicators of threat behavior.
- Validate models using operational data and collaborate with analysts and engineers to translate behavioral hypotheses into scalable, deployable algorithms.
- Support predictive analytics activities, including identification of patterns, trends, and long term behavioral signals.
- Support documentation and reporting requirements, integrating analytical outputs into dashboards and operational workflows.
- Bachelor’s Degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
- More than 8 years of performing data analysis, data science, advanced analytics, machine learning, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to build, train, and validate predictive models applied to behavioral analytics and cyber related data.
- Experience performing deep data analysis on large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in machine learning, statistical modeling, and analytical techniques such as: Classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection, topic modeling, collaborative filtering, time series analysis, validation techniques.
- Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, cloud compute platforms).
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, and tools for data engineering and analysis.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CERT InT PgM (Insider Threat Program Management)
- CCITP (Certified Counter Insider Threat Professional)\
