Beyond product development, the team also leads the execution of complex, high-impact client projects, often operating across functional and geographical boundaries. This role plays a critical part in driving innovation by continuously ideating and developing novel solutions aligned with business needs and emerging market trends. It requires a strong team player who can navigate ambiguity, communicate transparently, and contribute meaningfully to both established and nascent projects. By transforming vague problem statements and raw data into actionable insights or new product features, this position directly contributes to business growth and client success—helping us deliver differentiated value in the competitive Maritime and Trade analytics space.

Responsibilities:

• Drive complex analytical projects by leading and participating in tasks that use advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• Apply knowledge of various statistical / machine learning modeling techniques and best practices in data science to improve exiting analytics products or develop new products
• Work with business stakeholders and product managers to deliver outstanding products that exceed customer expectations
• Handle project management and stakeholder management activities and take full ownership of quality and timeliness of product deliverables.
• Gather knowledge about the maritime industry and its interrelationship with various economic and policy decision as relates to clients in the Financial market and the Shipping industry

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or higher degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or Data science certification from premier institute
• 6 to 10 years of progressive professional experience in Advanced Analytics / Data Science
• Thorough knowledge of fundamental concepts in statistics, Time Series Forecasting, Predictive modeling and Machine learning
• Excellent and hands-on knowledge of Python programming, DevOps and Cloud Framework. Further handing of large Database on the Cloud Platform
• Experience in building and ideating data science products/solutions from scratch and involved from requirement analysis to model deployment and monitoring.
• Ability to lead a team of data scientist and work along with them to implement new and innovative algorithms
• Understanding of data visualization principles and experience with data visualization tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Excellent Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to confidently present your own ideas and solutions, as well as guide technical discussions
