Our team is set to grow soon, welcoming Data Scientists, MLOps engineers, Backend Engineers and Frontend Engineers, all playing a pivotal role in Talon.One's development.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Data Scientist, you will share the ownership of all ML models within the company. You will be in close cooperation with the stakeholders from all departments (RnD, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales, Management, GTM etc.), to come up with ML use cases that will help the business to expand its operations. You will work on solving business problems using data science and machine learning. You will be responsible for creating and deploying machine learning models in collaboration with data scientists and engineers. You will also work closely with product managers and company leadership to come up with new solutions and prototyping them.
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Develop machine learning models to expand Talon.One’s intelligence layer.
- Prototype new ML products and ideas in collaboration with other data scientists, product managers and company leadership.
- Help create live dashboards to showcase ML model performance and other important metrics.
- Deploy and maintain ML models and data pipelines in production.
- Expand the ML infrastructure in the company.
- Be a point of contact for all things related to ML in the company.
- You will be at the centre of a freshly built modern ML stack, have the possibility to make it grow, and learn new skills and technologies.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 4-6+ years of experience in the field of data science and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and ML modeling.
- Solid understanding of statistics and mathematics for data interpretation, modeling and statistical experiments.
- Previous experience with recommendation systems and marketing tech, and knowledge of how to design, build and maintain ML models in production.
- Knowledge of deep learning models and experience with frameworks like Pytorch or Tensorflow.
- Experience building data pipelines in Google Cloud or AWS, feature engineering, data visualization tools and analytics dashboards.
- Proficiency with coding and software engineering principles like time-complexity, object oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and writing efficient APIs to serve data and predictions.
- Experience with data research and communicating complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- A Research and Development Department of 90+ of engineers, product managers and product designers in Berlin
- Leaders with 8+ years of experience building our promotions engine.
