Senior Data Scientist

Job Description

CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist to understand challenges, develop cases, capture requirements, and drive business solutions. Process and perform exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured data. Predict outcomes and behaviors using modeling techniques and statistical analysis. Collaborate with others to design data collection, database management, analysis of data, and creation of reports and dashboards. Design, implement, and evaluate A/B Tests and Multivariate tests. Review projects, models, and code. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field, and 1 year of experience with data analysis and machine learning. Experience must include at minimum: 1 year of experience with SQL, including writing complex queries and building out reporting; 1 year of experience with Python and R; 1 year of experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques and algorithms, including Clustering, Topic Modeling, K-Means, Naïve Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, and Neural Networks; 1 year of experience with statistics including distribution analysis, probability theory, statistical testing, and regression modeling; 1 year of experience with toolkits including Jupyter Notebooks, Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, MatplotLib, Seaborn, and NLTK; and 1 year of experience with designing, running, and analyzing experiments, including A/B tests and Multivariate tests.
