As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll partner with global stakeholders to solve complex problems, optimize operations, and drive strategic value through data. This role offers the opportunity to shape industry standards while delivering cutting-edge solutions—from predictive modeling to generative AI.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, translate them into analytical problems, and develop data-driven solutions that optimize company-wide processes and drive strategic value.

  • Build end-to-end data science solutions, including exploratory data analysis, modeling, validation, deployment, and monitoring for continuous performance. Define evaluation frameworks and custom KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders to measure business value and model performance.

  • Conduct in-depth statistical analysis, run experiments, and create dashboards to monitor performance, validate hypotheses, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders that can drive strategic decision making.

  • Design and implement Generative AI solutions using prompt engineering, foundation model fine-tuning, or domain-specific customizations to streamline operations and improve customer experience.

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to a wide range of business stakeholders, including senior leaders, using the language and context relevant to their domains.

In addition to above, senior-level candidates are expected to:

  • Lead projects with minimal supervision and take ownership of delivery and impact.

  • Mentor peers and support best practices in solution design and stakeholder engagement.

  • Proactively explore emerging trends in AI/ML and help shape the team’s innovation roadmap.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimentation techniques to complex business challenges.

  • Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, including commonly used models (e.g., regression, tree-based models, clustering, neural networks), training frameworks, validation strategies, and performance metrics.

  • High comfort level with modern data/statistical programming languages (SQL, R, Python, etc.) as well as data visualization tools.

  • Ability to translate business needs into analytical frameworks, and clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

  • Adaptability and curiosity, with the ability to quickly learn new domains, switch contexts, and work across a diverse set of problems in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exposure to Large Language Models, including hands-on experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or integration into business workflows, is a strong plus.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree – Master’s level or PhD, preferred

  • Proven track record of leading projects independently and delivering measurable business impact.

  • Experience mentoring peers or junior team members.

  • Ability to design evaluation frameworks and influence decision-making through thought leadership.

Hiring Salary Range of: $134,000 - $185,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
