Senior Data Scientist

The Global Business Services Center Service Management team is built upon strong contributors with leadership abilities, consulting mindsets, and strong project management skills. The group acts as an internal consultant supporting the Shared Services Organization which today supports three primary verticals: Finance, People & Capability, and Legal, Franchise & Integrity.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data scientist to join our team. As a data scientist, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large and complex data sets to identify patterns and trends. You will use statistical and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and algorithms that can be used to make informed business decisions.
Role
Responsible for developing data-driven innovative AI solutions and identifying opportunities to support business and client needs in a quantitative manner and facilitate informed recommendations/decisions.
Using AI tools and an understanding of data collection/sampling techniques to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
Effectively use tools to manipulate large-scale databases, synthesizing data insights. Provide 1st-level insights/conclusions/assessments and present findings.
Apply quality control, data validation, and cleansing processes to new and existing data sources.
Translate business requirements into tangible solution specifications and high-quality, on-time deliverables.
Building machine learning models, automated data pipelines, design data architecture/schema, perform jobs in big data clusters by using different execution engines and program languages such as Python, Spark, etc.
Evaluate trade-offs between many possible analytics solutions to a problem, considering usability, technical feasibility, timelines, and differing stakeholder opinions to make a decision.
Continuously innovate and determine new approaches & technologies to solve business problems and generate business insights & recommendations.

All About You
Background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field.
At least 6 years of experience in a similar data science role.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform in a team, use judgment, and operate under ambiguity.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with a variety of data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, GenAI, and SQL.
Experience with machine learning techniques and tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
