- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to transform vague requirements into clear, comprehensive project documentation and actionable plans.
- Build specialized knowledge in a focused business domain over time, guiding strategic initiatives based on your insights.
- Oversee the integration of multiple projects within the team, ensuring that analytical solutions are developed and executed effectively.
- Mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and career development support.
- Utilize our tech stack - Python, PySpark, Databricks, and AWS - to build and maintain robust data analytics solutions, leveraging your programming expertise and foundational AWS skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar).
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data processing, or related fields.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, or SQL) with a strong foundation in analytical techniques.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms and big data frameworks, with a working knowledge of AWS and PySpark.
- A proven ability to translate complex, ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable project deliverables.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
