The Role
- In this role, you will develop analytics solutions for the Wolters Kluwer Health Finance Business Intelligence team’s customers using SQL, advanced programming languages, Power BI dataflows and cloud-based data warehouses (such as Azure Synapse) on the Power BI platform
- You will be working within the Wolters Kluwer FSS organization to support the Financial Leadership in identifying financial strategic needs and directions for FSS
Key Responsibilities
Sales Reporting and Contract Analytics Data Analysis
- Analyse sales reporting data to identify trends and patterns, such as anticipated revenue/contract volumes by customer segments and product lines
- Enable self-service capabilities in Sales Reporting teams by developing curated datasets in Power BI dataflows and/or cloud-based data warehouses
- Identify trends and transform raw data to generate business insights for the Health Finance BI team’s customers
Business Opportunity Identification and Optimization
- Understand key business drivers and build knowledge of Wolters Kluwer Health, its Finance division, and the Business Intelligence team’s customers
- Assist in identifying business unit opportunities and challenges by continually reviewing and analyzing financial and operational data
- Model trends, identify relationships, and spot opportunities
- Test hypotheses and alternatives to find optimal solutions
- Collaborate with other leaders to identify new business models and workflows
- Assist in building business cases for necessary investments and strategic plans to achieve planned results
Report Development and Enhancement
- Simplify, standardize, and automate existing reports and dashboards
- Enhance visualization and drill-down capabilities to provide better insights for Root Cause Analysis
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Finance BI team members and business users to identify use cases for reporting, prioritize and execute development activities, and communicate with stakeholders
- Foster positive and professional relationships with stakeholders for effective collaboration and communication
Key skills and Experience required

Strong Experience in SQL is required.
- Experience with transforming large datasets in a cloud-based data warehouse (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google Big Query) and generating insights in a visualization platform (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in data science/analytics, finance, accounting, or economics or Engineering in Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- Required experience: At least 5 years in in Data Engineering
- Required: Experience in visualization tools (like Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong ETL programming skills using SQL and advanced programming languages such as Python/Py-Spark
- Knowledge of connecting to various types of data sources through dashboarding tools and Python
- Sound knowledge of statistical modelling
- Strong analytical skills; capable of multi-tasking in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to mentor team members / colleagues especially in technical aspects such as debugging and best practices in writing code
- Ability to communicate effectively to multiple constituencies in multiple platforms including email
Physical Demands
Minimum 2 days working from office (Pune-Kalyani Nagar).
