- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or related
- >2 Years of Experience in working as a Data Engineer or related
- Knowledge of
- SQL
- Programming experience: Python and some of Java, Scala, R
- Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lakehouse
- Big Data Technologies: Experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric (and/or some of Hadoop, Spark)
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud storage, database, and computing services, ideally in Microsoft Azure
- Data Pipelines/Management/Ingestion: Automation of data movement, transformation, quality and integrity verification, monitoring; ETL/ELT
- Optionally: Experience with Data Streaming / Spark Streaming / Kafka
- Optionally: Lakehouse Architectures, Database design
- Optionally: Data Cataloging, Data Governance
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision; Proficient in solving problems and preparing decisions independently.
