📋 Context
As a Senior Data Scientist, You will be owner on you machine learning models from end to end : from ideation, modelization and deployment. The topics are diversified, such as marketing optimization, document analysis and fraud detection.
Your responsabilities :
- Develop machine learning models and data pipelines to address various business challenges, enhancing system efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with data engineers and machine learning engineers to ensure effective production deployment of models.
- At Younited, Data Scientists also act as project managers on their topics.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders: local business units across four countries (FR, IT, ES, PT) , risk, product, and support functions (finance, compliance, etc.), and local business units across four countries (FR, IT, ES, PT) to enhance products and processes through data-driven insights.
- Experiment with new techniques and propose innovative solutions for operational challenges.
- Your Scope
- You will work in a rigorous and challenging environment to support the growth and scalability of Younited's solution, committed to automating as many steps as possible in the credit approval decision process
- Your models will have a direct financial impact on Younited
- You'll work on the topics of the Data Science AI team, which is developing & maintaining a wide range of solutions across the entire value chain of Younited, ranging from marketing to fraud detection, with a high focus on:
- Deploying GenAI models for our operations (Customer Service, Granting decision, Collections & Marketing)
- Open banking analysis (the root of our automated decision process) based on NLP models to extract and aggregate information of bank statements
🫵 About your profile
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in Data Scientist with proven experience deploying and managing production-grade ML systems.
- Advanced expertise in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.).
- Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions).
- Familiarity of MLOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, model registry).
- Familiarity with generative AI technologies and large-scale model deployment.
- Strong ability to document and communicate complex technical workflows.
- Strategic thinking and a focus on impactful, scalable solutions.
- Proactive and autonomous, with a passion for driving technical excellence.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to align cross-departmental goals.
- Business acumen and result-oriented approach, with a clear understanding of business challenges and the ability to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
