Your Role Within Our KingdomWe are looking for a dedicated and creative Sr. Data Scientist to join the Product Development and Experimentation teams in Catalog Games! You will help shape the future of our games through deep data insights that unlock player behaviors and business opportunities. As part of a diverse and talented analytics community, you’ll support multiple teams in creating entertaining, data-driven experiences for millions of players.
Working closely with game designers, game leads, developers, and other data scientists, you will define experiments, drive actionable insights, help identify strategic opportunities, and continuously evolve how we understand and enhance our games.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, analyze, and present results from A/B tests to inform feature and game development. Be the end-to-end owner of the experimental aspects in initiatives.
- Proactively conduct rigorous data explorations and develop models that uncover new opportunities.
- Deliver clear and impactful visualizations and presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Ensure data quality and accessibility to support informed decision-making across teams.
- Support the evolution of Catalog Games’ data science methodologies and tooling, and act as a craft role model.
- Collaborate across games to share insights, tools, and learnings that benefit the broader portfolio.
- Systematically break down abstract problems into concrete analytical questions.
Analytical & Technical:
- Strong background in applied statistics, experimentation, and predictive modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for working with large-scale, complex datasets (300M+ players).
- Skilled in Python or R for statistical analysis, modeling and automations.
- Deep understanding of statistical methodologies, including A/B testing and experimental design.
- Experience with big data platforms (e.g., GCP/BigQuery, AWS…).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git), and experience in collaborative programming.
Business & Communication:
- Strong business insight: able to frame product questions into structured analyses.
- Effective communicator: present data stories clearly and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative and strategic mindset: ability to work cross-functionally and guide decision-making.
- Experience with mobile game analytics or in-game advertising.
- Familiarity and interest in agentic workflows (Codex, Claude…)
- Contributions to data science communities or internal capability-building initiatives.
