What you'll do:
- As a Senior Data Product Manager, you will define and execute the vision for our data products, ensuring they support strategic business objectives across the organization.
- You’ll lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from discovery to delivery, ensuring scalability, usability, and long-term value.
- Gather and distil requirements from users and stakeholders, translating them into a clear vision and strategy for your data products.
- Work with partners to maintain and refine the product roadmap, ensuring backlog prioritisation reflects business priorities, user needs, and technical considerations.
- Proactively identify and evaluate business opportunities that can benefit from data.
- You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, managing expectations, providing transparency into the roadmap, and ensuring alignment on objectives and outcomes.
- You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for all internal stakeholders regarding data products, aligning priorities across departments.
- You’ll drive the product discovery process, identifying the right problems to solve (the WHAT and WHY) and collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams on solutions (the HOW).
- You’ll maintain a well-prioritized roadmap with clear milestones, delivering high-impact data features and capabilities.
- Continuously improve your data products by embracing iterative delivery, collecting feedback, measuring performance, and refining both roadmap and features
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience: 5+ years of experience in data product management or a similar product role, with hands-on exposure to working directly with users, understanding their needs, and helping them get the most out of data models and reporting tool
- Product discovery mindset: Strong background in gathering and distilling requirements from users, validating hypotheses, and translating ambiguous needs into clear product definitions.
- Technical fluency: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts. You understand key data warehouse concepts, can query datasets to uncover insights, and are familiar with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Data-driven decision-making: Expertise in leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform priorities and measure success.
- Outstanding communication: Ability to simplify complex data concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Data strategy expertise: Understanding of data infrastructure, analytics, governance, and how to build data products that drive business value.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across business, engineering, analytics engineering and analytics teams.
- Adaptability: Thrive in highly dynamic, uncertain, and fast-paced environments, embracing agility and change.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Driven by impact and outcomes rather than outputs. You proactively identify new opportunities, challenge assumptions, and help shape the evolution of our data capabilities.
- Language proficiency: Professional-level Business English is required.
