Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Product Management Consultant to be part of the Technology Finance Shared Services Team. As part of this team, this position will support Technology allocations, and be responsible for managing the end-to-end allocations across multiple business units. The analyst will partner with both Finance and Technology leaders to provide analysis on technology consumption, monthly billing results, and deliver insights that drive accountability, optimize spend, and support financial planning.
In this role, you will:
- Develop Cost Models: Design and manage business specific cost allocation models for technology expenses using business drivers.
- Financial Analysis: Develop complex financial analysis that is used to provide transparency into Technology consumption and expenses
- Financial Data Research: Conduct research on both volume and expense data to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
- Executive-Level Reporting: Develop and present executive-level reporting through advanced PowerPoint presentations.
- Cross-Organizational Partnership: Partner across Technology and Finance organizations to drive change and transformation.
- AI Use Cases: Identify AI use cases which can be applied to enhance allocations & reporting processes
- Risk Management: Ensure allocations process follows documented risk and controls
- AD-Hoc Reporting: Perform ad-hoc reporting as needed to support allocation processes
- 4+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Demonstrated experience in Technology Finance or Allocations preferred
- Robust analytical skills including analyzing & translating large data sets
- Prior experience partnering with senior leaders across business, technology & finance
- Experience in using reporting tools such as PowerBI, etc.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Apptio, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment
- Assess stakeholder needs and build effective relationships
