What you will do
As a Senior Data Analyst at Johnson Controls, you will play a key role in advancing data‑driven decision-making across the organization. By applying your analytical expertise and data management skills, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that shape strategic direction and enhance operational performance.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accessibility, quality, and insight generation—ultimately supporting business objectives and promoting a strong data-driven culture.
How you will do it
Data Collection and Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of data from various databases and sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for analysis.
Data Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques and analytical tools to explore data patterns and generate actionable insights, identifying trends, anomalies, and predictive behaviors relevant to business operations.
Collaboration: Partner with business units to understand their analytical needs, providing tailored data analysis and support that aligns with their strategic goals.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance data collection processes, improve data quality, and implement best practices in data management and analytics.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Leadership: Lead and manage technical and solution delivery resources. Act as liaison between IT and the business teams.
Quality Control: Lead the results of the testing cycle of system design changes prior to migrating to Production environment.
What we look for
Required
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields, ideally in a global or international environment.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and optimization.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong eye for detail and proficiency in interpreting complex datasets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouse platforms.
Strong background in advanced statistical techniques, forecasting, and predictive analytics.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2,500 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
