You will
- Develop and oversee the implementation of advanced data observability frameworks to ensure comprehensive monitoring and analysis of data systems.
- Mentor and guide data engineering teams in the adoption and integration of observability practices.
- Create sophisticated metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on data system performance, reliability, and integrity.
- Lead investigations into data incidents, providing expert analysis and recommendations for systemic improvements.
- Engage with key clients to assess their data needs and design customized observability strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Champion the adoption of new observability technologies and methodologies, setting the standard for industry best practices.
You have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with a preference for additional certifications in data management.
- At least 7 years of experience in a data observability leadership role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Expert knowledge of data pipeline architectures, data warehousing, big data technologies, and cloud services.
- Mastery of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk, with the ability to customize and extend their functionality.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
