Technically solid platform engineer for managing the enterprise BI & Analytics and Data platforms. This role requires hands-on expertise in BI platforms, application development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administration and optimization of enterprise-scale, multi-tier BI and data platforms on-prem and cloud
- Solve complex, high-impact problems that influence business strategy and operations
- Translate highly technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with different across the enterprise and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Design, develop, and enhance application needs to meet evolving business needs
- Drive performance improvements through code optimization and architectural enhancements
- Ensure 24x7x365 application availability, reliability, and stability
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement corrective actions
- Manage timely resolution of production issues, consistently meeting or exceeding SLAs
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable code
- Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize and resolve production issues efficiently
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development and platform administration
- 3+ years of experience in Windows and Unix administration
- 1+ years of experience in the healthcare domain
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Alteryx, and proc SQL
- Expertise in debugging, data analysis, and vulnerability management
- Proficiency in Python and any other programming language
- Solid proficiency in Azure cloud technologies and in maintaining and enhancing Terraform
- Solid SQL skills for optimizing queries on large datasets and platform metadata
- Solid skills with automation tools like Power Automate, shell scripting, or PowerShell code for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) build environments
- Demonstrated solid analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to justify technical choices
- Demonstrated ability in managing & maintaining GitHub code
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Demonstrated to be detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership capabilities
Preferred Qualification:
- Familiarity with front-end technologies
