Primary Responsibilities:
- Analysis of huge data set
- Write effective, re-usable and scalable code
- Develop back-end automation, components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
- Finalizing the scope of the system and delivering Big Data solutions
- Undertaking the processing of structured and unstructured data
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in DevOps (CI/CD)
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Knowledge of creating and consuming the REST API's
- Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and similar frameworks
- Knowledge of Kubernetes & Cloud computing - AWS/GCP/Azure
- In-depth knowledge of performance tuning / optimizing data processing jobs, debugging time consuming jobs
- Expertise in popular Python framework (like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Django, Flask, Pytest, PyUnit, etc.
- Solid SQL skills (MSSQL, PLSQL and/or MySQL)
- Proven good problem-solving skills
