Summary Generated by Built In

As a Senior Data Engineer within the OCISO Business Enablement team for Global Cyber Security Services (GCS), you will bridge the gap between complex cybersecurity operations and business efficiency. This role is not just about moving data; it is about building the ecosystem that allows our security teams to act faster and smarter. You will lead the design and development of sophisticated internal applications, autonomous AI agents, and robust data pipelines that automate cybersecurity portfolio workflows. You will be a key architect in our "low-code/pro-code" hybrid strategy, utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystem to deliver high-impact business portfolio solutions.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture & Development: Lead the design and end-to-end development of custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), ensuring they meet OCISO security standards.

  • Agentic AI Implementation: Build and deploy intelligent, autonomous AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio to automate routine security inquiries and complex decision-making workflows.

  • Backend Engineering: Develop and maintain serverless logic and integrations using Python and Azure Functions.

  • Data Modeling: Architect and manage relational databases in Azure SQL, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security for reporting and application backends.

  • Automation & CI/CD: Implement and manage GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment, maintaining a rigorous SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process.

  • Observability & Reliability: Establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and observability frameworks to ensure the health and performance of all enablement tools.

  • Stakeholder Enablement: Translate complex security requirements into user-friendly Power BI dashboards and automated Power Automate flows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Data Engineering, Software Development, and Business Applications.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Microsoft Power Platform (Expert Level): Deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • AI & Emerging Tech: Experience with MS Agentic AI and Copilot Studio.

  • Development & Cloud Backend: Proficiency in Python, Azure Functions, API Management, and Azure App Services.

  • DevOps & Operations: Experience with SDLC, GitHub Actions, and observability tools like Azure Monitor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain Knowledge: Previous experience within a Cybersecurity or OCISO environment is highly preferred.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the "big picture" of how data enables security business goals.

  • Communicator: Capable of explaining technical architectures to non-technical security leadership.

  • Problem Solver: A "builder" mindset that seeks to automate manual bottlenecks.

When you join our team:

  • We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.

  • We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.

  • As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
