Role OverviewThis role is critical for building, optimizing, and maintaining Verto's data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring reliable and high-quality data to drive our financial solutions.
About the RoleWe are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team.
What You’ll Be DoingEnhance and optimize the Data Warehouse, implementing CI/CD for data processes.
Conceptualize, design, and build scalable data architecture and models.
Optimize ELT pipelines and ensure data integrity and quality.
Define data governance and collaborate effectively across teams.
Own the data engineering process from scoping to execution.
3+ years of professional data engineering experience.
Expert experience with data warehouses and ETL pipelines.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
Expertise with Git for version control.
Proven experience with various Cloud Data Platforms.
Significant experience with automation, integration, and CI/CD tools.
Clear communication and collaborative mindset.
Experience with AWS, Snowflake and Databricks.
Worked in an early stage or growing stage start-up
Experience within the FinTech/Finance/FX industry.
Experience with real-time data pipelines.
Knowledge of and experience with data observability tools.
